Academic attainments are, and always will be, to the fore of our objectives in St. Mary’s College. However, we also believe firmly in the holistic enrichment and development of each of our students. The College endeavours to fulfil this objective through offering varied and rewarding extra-curricular programme. We believe that participation in extra-curricular activities helps to encourage discipline, self-esteem and teamwork. St. Mary’s has a dedicated staff who freely give of their time to encourage and coach our students, and to help them achieve their full potential.
Our extra-curricular activities include the following:
Science Quizzes, General Knowledge Quizzes, Public Speaking, Debating, Young Scientist, Educational Tours, College Yearbook, Church Celebrations, Computer Club, Student Council, Art, and Educational Competitions.
Learning should be varied and multi-faceted. We aim always to help our students to apply their class based knowledge in prestigious competitions. These efforts have been rewarded with national and international success.
My time in St. Mary’s really helped shape many aspects of my life in such a positive and meaningful way from academia, to promoting values of active citizenship, civic engagement and moral leadership. The college also played a major role in developing and nurturing my sporting abilities and the positive personal characteristics and values associated with sport
