St.Marys College vs Calasanctius College Oranmore

:St.Mary’s: 3:14 to Oranmore 2:7
On Monday 22nd October Marys Senior Hurlers faced Calasanctius College Oranmore on the front pitch. This was our first competitive match of the year and it proved to be a much closer affair than the score line would suggest. Mary’s introduced a lot of young players who have come through the ranks to start on this Senior team. Moycullens Paul Wynne and Ryan Fox and Barna’s Mark McDermott proved to be a prominent force in this strong Mary’s side. Outstanding performances were seen throughout the field but those who shone on the day were Captain Shane “Bomber” Walsh, Cathal Ryan, Paul Healy, Padraic Casserly, Padraig Kearney and two goal hero Adam Mooney. It was a great performance of hurling from all and we look forward to our next game away to St Endas on Nov 6th under the management team of Enda Mulrooney, Daragh Kerrigan and Mr Pierce O Malley.
