School Trip 2008

Grasse, South of France
In April 2008, the Transition Year Students along with teachers Ms. Cunnane and
Mr. Fannin travelled to the Cote D’Azur in the South of France on an exchange with
the Lycee Fenelon in Grasse. Each student was paired with a French correspondent living
in the Grasse area where they spent a very enjoyable week. Excursions to the renowned
perfumery in Grasse and day trips to such beautiful cities as Monaco, Cannes and Nice
were some of the many highlights of the trip. Three weeks after their return, the
students from Grasse visited Galway where they were shown all of the city’s tourist attractions.
